Notre Histoire
From Champagne to Keuka Lake
Six generations. Twenty-three harvests. Two continents. One love story.
“We taste regularly — every two or three days — relying on taste over Brix measurements. It's the French way.”— Sébastien LeSeurre, Winemaker

6 Generations
Champagne Roots
The LeSeurre family has been making wine in Champagne, France, for six generations. The craft of winemaking is in the blood — passed down from parent to child, vintage after vintage.

2000s
A Global Journey
Céline and Sébastien met in New Zealand, where Sébastien was training alongside master winemakers. From the Southern Hemisphere to Australia, they absorbed New World techniques while staying true to Old World principles. Each vineyard taught them something new about terroir and expression — and about each other.

2012
Falling for Keuka Lake
Céline and Sébastien discovered the Finger Lakes — a region with a microclimate remarkably similar to their homeland. The cool-climate terroir, steep slopes, and deep glacial lakes reminded them of the conditions that make Champagne so special.

2014
Domaine LeSeurre is Born
With a small vineyard on the west shore of Keuka Lake, the couple began crafting wines that bridge Old World elegance and New World character. Méthode champenoise sparkling, Burgundy-style Chardonnay, Loire-inspired Cabernet Franc — all with a distinctly Finger Lakes expression.

The Craft
Champagne Precision, Finger Lakes Soul
Every bottle at Domaine LeSeurre is shaped by six generations of Champagne savoir-faire. Céline tastes every barrel, guiding each wine with the precision of méthode champenoise — gentle pressing, patient fermentation, and an instinct for balance that no textbook can teach. The result: wines that honor tradition while embracing the singular terroir of Keuka Lake.

Today
A French Accent on Keuka Lake
What started as a dream has become one of the most celebrated wineries in the Finger Lakes. Alongside a dedicated team, Céline and Sébastien have built Domaine LeSeurre into a destination known for its French-inspired approach, warm hospitality, and wines that tell the story of two worlds meeting in one glass.
